Train-the-Trainer "Horse-Assisted Liberal Coaching" (German)
Further training and education
This train-the-trainer program is especially designed to offer intensive further training and education for personal trainers, coaches, psychotherapists, teachers, pedagogues or members of similar professions who already integrate horses in their business or wish to do so in the future. It is not suitable for untrained persons as it does not include a basic education in coaching and therapy.
Target group:
Personal trainers, coaches, psychotherapists, teachers, pedagogues and other members of similar professions who already integrate horses in their daily work or wish to do so in the future.
Requirements for admission:
- Vocational education in personal training, coaching, teaching, psychotherapy, social work or in similar fields and/or
- Several years of work experience in the fields mentioned above and/or
- Several years of work experience in horse-assisted education, experiential education, outdoor education or similar fields
Experience with horses is welcome but not necessary. We will introduce you to horses in a safe and natural way which will build mutual trust.

Contents
Horses are fascinating beings, fully in the moment, very aware of subtleties in behavior and mood. They seem to have an intrinsic talent to distinguish between truth and pretending. This makes horses excellent co-trainers helping humans to become more aware of themselves and their conditioned behavior patterns and programs. We can also learn from horses how to relate and interact with others - openly, authentic, congruent and unambiguous.
In order to fully benefit in horse-assisted education from these genius gifts horses bear inside, the trainer, therapist or coach needs fond knowledge to be able to decode the horses‘ subtle signals and to create and hold a safe space for the client and the horse. A safe space develops in an atmosphere of non-judgement, liberty, full acceptance, respect and mutual trust which applies for all parties involved.
Since horse-assisted education became very popular, offers sprung up like mushrooms. But alongside the very beneficial effects of horse-assisted work, in many cases horses became very instrumentalized, used as mere tools. Pretty sad for all the horses but also for the clients as they could not fully benefit from the high potential this work may provide.

This Train-the-Trainer education program is designed to bring (even) more awareness, competence, professionalism, empathy and understanding in your horse-assisted work.
Methods:
Theoretical lessons will alternate with practical experience and video analysis. Next to important insights concerning horse behavior and approved coaching techniques you will also learn a specific nonjudgmental, empathetic coaching language. Our specific method of „Horse-Assisted Liberal Coaching“ is based on the core values of humanism, Gestalt therapy and Zen.

Train-the-Trainer program in Poettmes, Germany:
Training schedule: 10 training days (2 weeks)
Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Friday 9.a.m. - 1 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday no classes
Education fee: 1.900,00 Euro per person plus 19% VAT (2.261,00 Euro in total)
including handouts, all necessary material, hot and cold
beverages and snacks during coffee brakes.
